Oats with milk

         Oats are quick, easy and delicious breakfast or snack. We can make it delicious to eat by cooking it with milk. Using milk we can make it too much creamy and tasty. It is Calcium and protein-rich food.
        Children will like this dish. This is healthy food for them. We can cook oat with sugar or alt by adding milk. Here I used to prepare the oat with milk and sugar.

Oats Payasam/ Oats with milk / Sweet dessert using Oats

Main ingredients we need 


  • Oats-1 cup
  • Milk-3 cups
  • Sugar-as required
  • Ghee-1 tbsp
  • Carrot-1
  • Apple-1
  • Cashewnuts
  • Almonds
  • Raisin
  • salt-a pinch

How to prepare oats Payasam

  • Take a saucepan then add ghee into it.
  • when ghee melts add grated apple, carrot, and nut into it.

  • Then add sugar according to your taste.
  • Pour milk into it.
  • Add a pinch of salt.
  • When the milk starts to boil, add the oats.
  •  Keep boiling for some time under low flame.
  • Keep stirring until it become cooked and become creamy.

  • Oats are a good source of fiber.
  • Oats help in weight loss.
  • It helps to control blood sugar levels.
  • Oats have a low glycemic index only.
