How to make pure white & creamy mayonnaise

Homemade Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is a thick dressing commonly used in sandwiches, burgers, salads, french fries, shawarma, and in some snacks, etc. It is also used in some sauces also.

It usually made using oil(sunflower oil is best), egg, an acid (either lemon juice or vinegar)The color of mayonnaise varies from white to pale yellow and its texture from light cream to a thick gel.some of the people made using whole egg and some of the people use egg white only.

Depending on the type of diet you follow mayonnaise can be good or bad for you. Mayonnaise is mostly oil. It is high fat.

Homemade mayonnaise is creamy and fluffy more tasteful than anything you buy at the stores. We use raw egg in the recipe. Room temperature ingredient is the best to make mayonnaise at home. There are different ways to prepare mayonnaise at home. Here I used a simple and easy way.

make: 1 cup


  • 2 eggs' white
  • Garlic cloves-4 no
  • Sunflower oil- 3/4 cup
  • Vinegar- 2 tsp
  • Salt- required


  1. Keep separated 2 egg white
  2. In a blender add 2 egg's white, garlic cloves,2 tsp vinegar, 1/4 cup sunflower oil, required salt, and blend it well. 
  3. Then add remaining 1/2 cup sunflower oil. Blend them well until it becomes creamy and fluffy.
